About us

Patini is a family guesthouse. We are a mixed family:

  • Séverine, a Swiss woman (48 years old, French/francophone and English speaking)
  • Daya, a Sri Lankan man Daya (56 years old, Sinhala and English speaking)
  • Chamika, a boy (16 years old, French, Sinhala and English speaking)
  • Hassalie, a girl (13 years old, French, Sinhala and English speaking)

For a few years, Mala has been working for us every day. She will help you with a smile and her kindness from 8.30am to 5pm. She doesn’t speak much English but she manages to understand your needs.

Daya is at Patini most of the time gardening, repairing, painting, maintaining, improving, shopping, taxiing, from 8am to 10pm. He could be your driver for the day or a couple of days. He has a comfortable Kia Sorento.

Severine is at Patini only in the afternoon.

Hassalie and Chamika has their own teenagers life… They may sometimes pop at Patini.

We like to welcome anyone, families, friends and couples. We will take care of you as a family member while leaving you independent and free. We will be happy and available to answer your questions about tourism and Sri Lankan life.
