- Sri Lanka undiscovered (srilankaundiscovered.co.uk) has volunteer programs in teaching of English in schools in tea plantations.
- Sarvodaya ‘Shramadana’ programs (sarvodaya.org) welcome volunteers to villages to work on local projects.
- Sewalanka Foundation (sewalanka.org) accepts volunteers who assist with aid and development projects and build the capacity of local staff.
